Empowering Change: Our Recent Initiative in East Africa

SheCentre is proud to share with you the latest updates from our new women's empowerment and community health initiative in East Africa. It has been a labor-of-love project made possible by commitment, hard work, and sacrifices from our incredible team and dedicated donors and volunteers who have stood by us all along the way.

Our "Empowerment for Women" initiative was launched against the backdrop of a very dire situation women go through in rural communities, pertaining to access to health and education about their health, and economic empowerment.

We have held a number of workshops on skills development and economic empowerment, including the most prominent ones in the field of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Indeed, very many participants indicated higher levels of confidence and motivation to achieve their goals and become effectively useful to their communities.

The future excites us as we see the continued positive impacts which this initiative has borne. Plans are underway to increase services and have an impact on more needy communities. Keep watching out for more updates and change stories!
